Projects

Projects divide your account into separate areas. Every product subscription and every resource, such as a bucket, a server, or a DNS zone, belongs to exactly one project. A product can be booked in one project and not in another, and each project has its own allowed products.

Admins and managers create projects on the Organisation page and have access to all projects. Members only see the projects in which they have a project role.

Switch projects

The sidebar shows the current project in the group Project. Click the project name to open the project switcher; it lists all projects you have access to.

  • If you switch while you're on a product page, you land on the same product in the other project, provided it is active there.
  • Otherwise you land on the other project's dashboard. If the product isn't active or isn't allowed in the other project, the web app tells you.

Below the project switcher, the sidebar links to the project dashboard and to the project's products. It only shows products that are allowed in the project.

Pages of a project

Each project has two tabs:

Above the project pages, the breadcrumb shows the project name; click it to get back to the project dashboard.

Projects on invoices

Invoices belong to the account, not to a project. The items on an invoice are grouped by project, so you can see which project caused which costs. See Invoices.
